Hello, I’m David, minister, author and speaker.

To say I've lived a very eventful life, I feel is an understatement. I was born in Xenia, Ohio, but I was raised in Elyria, Ohio and I must say my introduction into the world wasn't the best way but I am eternally thankful to my mother, Mayme Jo Mitchell who birthed me. I got into the music industry in my early twenties as the manager of a band and as a concert promoter and worked with some big name groups. I didn't know this would lead me down a road of destruction with drugs that would almost take my life.

I moved to Atlanta, Ga where I would meet my wife Cynthia and give my life to God and my life would be forever changed. Cynthia and I would get married and have to find a way to blend nine children with six outside parents which would lead to some of the most difficult times a marriage could endure because we were so unskilled for the task and could find no one to help us that understood the dynamics of a blended family. Little did we know God was grooming us to be for thousands of other people what we ourselves couldn't find. Our parenting skills were far from perfect but we were committed to walking it out.

When it comes to building healthier family dynamics and Mentoring Men, I just want to share with other families and men a lot of the wisdom and experience I've learned through the experience of failures and successes as a man, husband, father and leader. I also get a lot of pleasure spending time with my wife, Cynthia and also with our children and sixteen grandchildren.
